John and his team are unbelievably talented and very obviously have a love for their craft. On my most recent visit I brought my truck in for a problem with the steering shaft. Ryan explained what the problem was and gave me several options on how to proceed. After further diagnosis he called me back and walked me through the quote and explained everything and asked if I wanted to proceed. Less than 36 hours later my truck was repaired and dropped off at my workplace. Johns team also follows up a few days afterwards to make sure everything is okay with your vehicle. In short they are fair, honest, knowledge and fast.

Wow so this is what driving with brakes feels like. 🤣 Exceptional is the only word that comes to mind for the guys. Very professional, answering questions, phone calls never bull crapping me like other mechanics. Straight forward, got the job done and had me stickers up and driving in no time and I brought them a real mess. Awesome!!! Would give them 20 thumbs up if I could. Thank you!

I'm grateful for John and the Team at AC Auto. My Silverado had hidden frame issues that I couldn't see and they were able to save my truck before the carnage became unrepairable😢. They explained everything in detail, up front prices and called if anything came up. Absolutely fair and honest with quality work. John and his team at AC Auto are and have always been amazing. I have been using them for my vehicles for at least 5 years. He has always gone above and beyond with his service and availability. He uses factory recommended service for his guidelines and repairs. Last week my father broke down on the highway in Wakefield and he called me, since I live local. I hooked him up with AC Auto and had his truck towed there. He needed a new water pump. He broke down at 3:30 pm and was towed to their shop at about 4:15. I picked him up and drove him home to Wilmington. John and his team were able to replace his water pump, front brakes and battery. They then delivered his truck back to his house before 9:30 pm.John and his guys are top notch and know how to find and fix anything wrong with your vehicle the right way and for the right price. Never any doubts about their service and where I’ll always take my vehicles to!Update: I recently failed an inspection due to a front ball joint. AC Auto fixed the issue AND brought my truck back for the reinspection to make sure there were no other issues. Much appreciated!!!

AC Auto is the only place I want to take my car. John and his employees are extremely kind and honest and do the best work using only the best parts. I’ve come to them with issues that were something like an oil light being on or a transmission light due to another company failing to turn it off. They always help me out. They are so good to me I question why I ever went anywhere else. As a woman who does not know cars, it’s nice to go somewhere that’s so honest and doesn’t speak down to me. They won’t do work they don’t think is necessary and won’t do any work without me knowing what it will entail and the cost. They are really the best. They also will do local pick ups for my car or pick me up and drop me off.Most recently, my car kept stalling and I had run out of coolant due to a leak. I brought my car over, the Monday before Christmas. They were fully booked but John said they could scan my car and book be for the next week since they were off the rest of the week for the holiday. They looked at my car and determined it was a high priority and I couldn’t drive it without it continuing to stall. They went out to buy the parts and installed what I needed immediately. I am sure that caused them to run behind that day as there was a lot of people in the waiting room and the lot was filled. They are kind, responsible and good to their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone. You won’t be disappoint with the service at AC Auto.

When I walked into Ac Auto for the first time, it was very impressive clean safe and well lit. I recently brought in a recently purchased but old body on frame SUV for rustproofing and undercoating. John, the owner, is a stand up guy. He doesn't try to upsell you on anything. They are very transparent with their pricing and services. No overcharging on parts to offset artificially low labor rates. You know what you are paying for here and they do a good job. They are not just rustproofing but a full service auto garage. Highly recommended.
